Honing Sticks :

Our range consists of Honing-Sticks / Super Finishing Stones upto 1600 Grit and/or as per requirement of the customers. We always maintain a ready stock of these materials in all their specified sizes and varieties.

• Honing Holders ( Honing Heads ) :

We manufacture Honing Holder of any size, to meet the requirement of the Customer as per their component. We provide both Single Expansion Honing Holder & Double Expansion Honing Holder i.e. Roughing & Finishing at a time

All the honing holders are self-expanding during honing operation i.e. hydraulically expanding type i.e. the customer's machine should have provision for meeting the above requirements.

Our requirement is mounting details of the holder and honing diameter
(Bore ID), and stick size and length and no. of sticks per set
(5+5 or 6+6). And then we can manufacture the honing holder suitable to any machine manufactures all over the world.

We also manufacture Honing Holder for Components such as Cylinder Liner, Barrel, Yoke, Bearing Housing, & all types of pistons & blocks.

If the customer provides us machine holder mounting details then we are capable of manufacturing honing holders of any sizes. For example, Hydraulic expansion of Honing Holder Dia 100 mm can be used from 100 mm to 115 mm by using different width of honing stick (that means the range of honing holder 100 mm to 115 mm max). All the above Honing heads are manufactured as per the Nagel & Gehring Standard.

Prices are subject to requirements of the Honing holder i.e. whether it is single expansion or double expansion, bore size and number of stick carrier, etc.

• Honing Stones

Honing Stones are manufactured from high purity synthetic corundum (Aluminium Oxide) and Silicon Carbide.
We manufacture vitrified boned as well as bakalite bonded honing stones to suit the special applications of our
customers. we have developed special cool cutting bonds which provide high rate of stock removal with good finish to cut the production costs and eleminate frequent dressing due to the self dressing property of our stones

The grit range is from 20 to 4000 as per FEPA standards and sizes as per your need. These are normally square or
rectangular in cross-section but special shapes can be supplied if required

Applications : Our stones are suitable for most applications requiring honing and are used in honing of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, cylinder liners, engine cylinders of automobiles, compressors, pneumatic tools. gun barrels of field guns and battle tanks, connecting rod ends etc.

Our Honing stones are made under strict quality control for the specific need of a particular application

Selection : It is most important to select the proper stone for your application. In case you wish us to advice or assist you for the selection please provide us with the following initial information

a) Type of machine used and number of stones in a set.
b) Machine parameters like pressure, speed of rotation and reciprocation
c) Size and material of component & its hardness
d) Desired material removal
e) Intial finish before honing
f) Final finish required
g) Size of the honing stones
h) Specification of the presently used stone-if any and the areas in which the improvement is required

• Honing Job Work :

We are also doing Honing Job Work for various types of Components like Cylinder Liners, Barrel, Bearing Housing, Hydraulic Cylinder, Bushes, etc.

Our range consists of the Components ranging from 10mm to 800mm and/or as per the customer's requirement. Ovality and Taper is achieved within 5 micron of accuracy of the Components. Inspection of all sizes is done by Bore gauges. Air gauges are also available.

We have spare capacity available for Honing Bore Size from 10mm to 800mm upto 1.5 meter Length. Ovality and Taper within 5 micron 5 micron of accuracy of the Components.
